• Our Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides access, academic support, and financial assistance to first-time, full-time students who show promise for success in college but may need additional support.
• The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) is a New York State Department of Education–funded program developed to increase the amount of under-represented and economically disadvantaged students who are pursuing professional licensure and careers in STEM fields.
• A dedicated Student Accessibility Services office ensure differently-abled students have access to all the resources they need for success.
• We offer services specifically for veterans as well as men and women currently serving in the armed forces.
Vibrant student life
The Institute boasts a 13:1 student-faculty ratio and an average class size of 18 students. A total of 955 residential students attend the institution, primarily at SUNY Poly Utica, which hosts more than 40 student clubs and organizations, NCAA Division III athletics, 12 intramural sports, and a rich residential life program on its beautiful, modern, and vibrant campus.
