At Ohio Northern University, we have a 97% job and graduate school placement rate. Our long-standing success is partly because we have excellent professors, partly because we have ambitious students, and partly because we’ve always been rooted in the future. “My most memorable moment as an ONU student would have to be the first ONUnity event we had on campus. It was very comforting seeing how many students and faculty truly cared about diversity on this campus.”
“The rural community setting allowed me to enhance and practice my classroom-learned clinical skills by providing health care services and health education to underserved populations that need it the most. This showed me that I, as an individual future pharmacist, have a huge role to play in the health and well-being of my community and that I can make a positive impact on someone's life, which in turn made me eager to embody that role."
“When you tell employers you graduated from ONU, that just puts you above the other candidates. Additionally, the faculty are here for you. They give you their number if you have a question on a problem or just need to talk. All of the professors have worked in higher-profile companies and experienced it, and now they're teaching us.”
“There's been a huge 180-degree transformation in me. Before I came here, I used to be reserved and shy. If I would talk in front of people, I would literally cry, but with the exposure here, I feel confident talking now. I've always had that struggle of finding where I belong, but being here has made me realize that you can just be you.”
