Wesleyan students have the opportunity to pursue any of our 50 undergraduate majors, 33 minors, and five graduate programs. They include not only focused research within your given field but also exploration and study within various departments and courses through our general education program. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you find your own academic voice, and the family you build here will give you the chance to find a major that fits your passion.

West Virginia Wesleyan is located in Buckhannon, West Virginia—a college town of 7,500. The town offers a wide range of locally-owned and fast food restaurants, a number of unique shopping opportunities, and a Super Walmart. The town is a popular destination each May for the annual West Virginia Strawberry Festival and during the summer months because of the many flowers displayed throughout its streets. Buckhannon was recently featured in the Smithsonian magazine and is included in Norman Crampton’s 100 Best Small Towns in America.
